After the recent flood crisis that hit Northern NSW and Queensland, some wonderful members from our Clifton Old Bar community approached us to start the first “Clifton Games” for the “Helping our Mates” campaign.

Over the past weeks, our residents have come together to compete in bowls, croquet, darts, pool and putting competitions to raise money to help in the clean-up in Lismore and surrounds. Altogether, over 70 people joined for the “post finals” BBQ lunch in the Clubhouse to raise funds for our mates in Northern NSW.

Apart from a significant monetary contribution, the community has also worked with the Old Bar Mens Shed to pull together 2 truckloads of goods which are being sent up to the area to directly help replace items lost in the floods.
