Back in November, the Clifton Lifestyle team took a photographic team up to Yamba to capture some of the special people, sights, and essence of the home for our new Clifton development.

What the team discovered was nothing that could ever have been planned or scripted…

A talented bunch of locals

Ahead of the photoshoot we met several locals who lived the true essence of the ‘Yamba lifestyle’. Fit, active over 55s who encapsulate the warmth and community spirit that we know will be the essence of Clifton Yamba life. We had Mel and Deb, Wendy and Ben, Stella, Gaewin and a host of others who showed us some of their favourite Yamba spots and helped us discover some of the less known locations ‘off the beaten track’. These people were not professional models, and in fact had never done anything like this before. Yet they captured our hearts by opening up to us and showing us what it is to enjoy and embrace all that life has to offer!

Some friendly visitors

Upon arriving at the Yamba Golf & Country Club to photograph our talented team of locals, we were surprised to find a few extras who wished to show off in front of the camera. A troop of local Kangaroos were hopping along the fairway and frolicking about. When we talk about Yamba being full of wildlife, we didn’t expect to be able to display this in our photoshoot but these friendly ‘Roos had other ideas!

The sea life popped up to say hello

When one of our photographers sent his drone up to capture some of the glistening coastline, he was surprised to see who popped up to show us around! This pod of dolphins couldn’t help themselves, and honestly this wasn’t a moment we could ever have scripted or planned in the tight time frame we had to shoot our photos and videos in Yamba!

These are just a couple of the many magical moments that presented themselves on camera in our 2 day photoshoot. We can’t wait to share more of these moments with you as you come on the journey with us to see what life in Yamba is all about.
